Afternoon Tea with City Cruises

It was a lovely afternoon as we boarded the City Cruises boat at Tower Pier.  There were staff on hand to greet us and escort us to our table. After everyone was on board, the magical afternoon began. We cruised along the Thames being greeted by the magnificent Houses of Parliament and the London Eye during sunset.

It was absolutely beautiful and a great way to see London. There was a deck area upstairs where guests could enjoy the view and fill their Instagram feeds with their latest pictures of London.

Our delicious afternoon tea included different varieties of sandwiches, scones and jam and afternoon tea pastries .(picture below).

My colleague and I got a chance to get to know each other better while enjoying an afternoon tea with breath taking scenery outside. The tour lasted around an hour and a half.

The staff were extremely helpful and willing to bring you anything that you required.

The cruise finished at Tower Pier, which is conveniently located 5 minutes’ walk away from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, two of the most famous tourist sites to visit whilst in London.

I would highly recommend this cruise as it was a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon and I would definitely return on a future visit to London.
