British Music Experience – Overview
Visit the British Music Experience, the UK’s premier attraction about the history of music in the UK. Located in Liverpool, the birthplace of The Beatles, a visit here will leave you singing in the streets!
The British Music Experience tells the story of British Music through costumes, instruments, performance and memorabilia. Whatever your age and what you’re into, there is something for you! The museum has outfits worn by artists from David Bowie and Dusty Springfield, to the Spice Girls, Adam Ant and X Factor finalists and musical instruments played by some of the world’s most renowned artists from Noel Gallagher to the Sex Pistols. They even have the original statues from the Brits, and memorabilia from the Beatles through to Adele. Visitors can also get involved for example by learning a musical instrument, from drum kits to keyboards, record in a vocal booth or practice dance routines in the Dance the Decades experience.
Music fans will also love the Thames Jazz Cruise!
