You will also sail past Brownsea Island and castle, built by King Henry VIII.  Learn how the very harbour you are sailing upon dates back thousands of years to the end of the last Ice when it was formed. Jurassic Coastal Cruise

Enjoy this fantastic 2 hour 15 minute round trip cruise between Poole and Swanage. You will be transported through over 2 million years of geological history. As you head towards the open sea, you will voyage through Poole’s picturesque harbour. You’ll be close to Brownsea Island, affording great views on its magnificent castle, and continue past the exclusive houses of Sandbanks. From there you will sail onwards to observe the breath-taking, UNESCO-listed Jurassic Coast as your captain will provide you with amazing facts through the live commentary. Old Harry Rocks, Studland Bay and Swanage Bay are just a few of the landmarks you pass, before arriving to Swanage Pier and returning back to Poole Quay.

Return Cruise to Swanage

Explore both land and sea on this excursion to Swanage! On this trip you can choose to enjoy either two and a half or five hours ashore the picturesque coastal town of Swanage. After you sail through Europe’s largest natural harbour, seeing Brownsea Island, the beaches of Studland Bay and the beckoning opening cliffs of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast you will arrive at Swanage. Here, from glorious sandy beaches backed by bustling promenades, to the fascinating history and wildlife in the museums and parks. There’s definitely something for everyone! Back on board on your voyage back to Poole, take in, once again, the magnificent sights from the open-air deck or comfortable saloon.

Harbour lights evening cruise

An evening cruise around Poole Harbour with views of Old Harry Rocks. The cruise takes you from Poole Quay around the harbour sailing close to Brownsea Island and its castle, the expensive properties on Sandbanks and close to the islands & beautiful beaches which all have something unique to view.
