Revel in the sights of the UK’s tallest sculpture – The ArcelorMittal Orbit. You’ll get views of Alexandra Palace to the north and Epping Forest to the east. To the south you’ll see the Crystal Palace transmitter and the magnificent Wembley Stadium to the west. And now you can ride “The Slide”! An exhilarating dash to the bottom on the world’s tallest and longest tunnel slide at 584ft (178m) long and 249ft (76m) high!

The View
Before you ascend the tower, marvel at Anish Kapoor’s unique red lattice structure as it twists and turns above you. At a staggering 80m above the ground, the inside platform and the outside observation walkway of the ArcelorMittal Orbit will give you a fabulous viewing experience. In addition to the famous London Stadium located next door. You’ll see five football stadiums and some of London’s most famous landmarks. For instance, The Shard, St.Paul’s, Big Ben, the BT Tower, the O2 arena and the ever-changing skyline of Canary Wharf.
Get up close to these sights with innovative and interactive touchscreens that allow you to zoom into the view. Also, learn more about the city and uncover the history of the ArcelorMittal Orbit. Discover more about Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the London 2012 Games and the sculpture’s artists through fun exhibitions and even interact with the art itself with Anish Kapoor’s two huge concave mirrors where you can flip the horizon and have fun with the view.
The Slide
Are you brave enough to ride The Slide, a hair-raising experience that’s not for the fainthearted? Scream your heart out as you race through the twists, turns and drops of the world’s tallest and longest tunnel slide as it weaves its way through the iconic red steel frame. Travel through light and dark sections at speeds of up to 15mph! The Slide loops its way around the ArcelorMittal Orbit 12 times taking visitors through gentle curves, thrilling drops and tight corkscrew twists. Hold on tight!

Important information
Customers for The Slide will be allocated a time slot on arrival. Please check the Orbit’s website for availability to avoid disappointment. To ride The Slide you must be at least 1.3m in height and at least eight (8)years old, and weigh under 139kg (22 stone).
