With Easter just around the corner, why not find something fun for the family to do. If you find the Easter egg hunts overrated and you’re looking for something a bit different, yet still fun for the kids, why not stop by the Royal Marines Museum.
On Monday March 28th , the Royal Marines Museum welcomes their special guest, ‘Max the Marine’. Max is a quite friendly and photogenic marine and he will be in the museum from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm to have pictures taken. Children and big kids alike will love to have their photo taken with him, so don’t miss out!
Looking for more fun? It’s Only for a short time, so don’t miss your chance, but on Tuesday March 29th and Tuesday April 5th from 11:00 until 15:00, you can participate in the popular Lego shipbuilding. You asked for it and they listened to you and brought it back by popular demand. This activity is free with a valid admissions ticket, and you can have a go at building a Lego amphibious commando craft.
When you are finished you can spend the rest day exploring the museum and all the exhibits it has to offer. Discover your own family’s Royal Marines History by learning how to find and interpret service papers. Have no one in the Marines? It is still fascinating and fun to discover the heroes and learn their stories.
