London is known for its attractions and no matter what your interests are, there is something for everyone.  Take a tour around some of London’s famous sights on the open top tour bus and marvel at London’s most iconic attractions including Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and The London Eye.

London from Above

If you’re feeling adventurous, jump on board the London Eye and enjoy the spectacular views. Or catch a bird’s eye view of London from the tallest building in Europe, The Shard, one of the best ways to experience the city and a visit definitely worthy of a place on your list of things to do in London.

London has some fantastic museums that provide an amazing experience for tourists.  If you like science and technology then head to the Science museum, which is one of the most visited museums in Europe.  It has a 3D and 4D simulator as well as interactive galleries bringing science to life. Alternatively, if you want to snap a picture with some of the most famous celebs in the world, then walk the red carpet at Madame Tussauds. Strike a pose next to the likes of David Beckham, Prince William and Rihanna and get a sneak peek behind the scenes of those who create the sculptors.

Luxury Shopping

One of the reasons London is so popular with tourists is the shopping experience. For luxurious retail therapy all under one roof, head to the world famous Harrods. Brands available in store include Vivienne Westwood, Christian Louboutin and Hermes and just in case you get peckish, the food hall offers delicious food and a place to relax for the weary shopper. Alternatively if you want a mixture of affordable stores and designer labels then Westfield White City will cater to your shopping needs all under one roof.

If vintage is more your style, London offers a range of markets and boutiques.  Camden Market located in North London is famous for embracing the vintage styles of the capital with a mixture of eccentric and classic style boutiques and stalls. Portobello market is equally popular if you are looking for a one off, rare piece of history.  And for all the foodies, Borough Market at London Bridge showcases more than just your average fruit and veg. Shopping is a must for things to do in London.
