And with three permanent galleries you’re sure to be fascinated for some time, as you discover some of Britain’s greats, such as Royal Worcester from the 19th century and Chamberlain pieces from an earlier era, among others.

In the Victorian gallery you will learn about how modes of transport had a heavy influence on the designs that were transferred to the porcelain pieces. Boats and ships became a popular theme during the Victorian age and with the Industrial Revolution porcelain items became more affordable to the general public and soon they began making all sorts of things out of porcelain.

The Worcester Porcelain Museum not only has a Victorian themes room, but they also display a Georgian Gallery, as well as a Twentieth Century Gallery showcasing some of the best porcelain items from today’s factories.
