NEW 2012 – Claws Rockpool Adventure! (Opens Easter 2012)

Come along and experience the Parks new feature for 2012 – Claws Rockpool Adventure!!! Explore natural rockpools, hold giant spider crabs and find out what lurks beneath the water of the rockpool with an underwater viewing device!!

The Sea Life Weymouth centre is located near Lodmoor Country Park not far from the stunning Dorset coast. The centre first opened its doors in the 1984 and has since developed into a favourite family day out attraction, promising its visitors everything from fun filled activities to educational opportunities and wildlife talks. The centre, apart from being this great attraction is also home to the National Seahorse Breeding and Conservation Centre since 2003, although the programme has actually existed since 1995.

Explore more than 1000 creatures at Sea Life Weymouth including Baby Crocs, Penguins, Seals and Otters and observe their habits when you walk through the underwater tunnel with Sharks, Giant Sea Turtles and Tropical fish starring at you. As a visitor, you can also join in the interactive Rock Pool and hold crabs and starfish as well as your children going on fun rides and the Splash Lagoon, which will include a drop ride, water jets and a splash pool to ensure they make the most out of their day out. 

If you enjoy creating your own adventure, then try out the intimate animal feeds where you can get up close to the penguins, go behind the scenes and join trainers on their shark feeding sessions or observe the fascinating turtles during their beloved tea time when you can help feed them.
