Arriving into a big country like the UK can be daunting especially if you’re bringing your kids with you. With lots of things to see and do, you want to make sure that your days out with the kids are fun, adventurous and educational.
London:
Whilst in London, you do not want to miss out on the beautiful wildlife that London offers. The London Wetland Centre in Barnes shows off the scenic walkways set amongst the lakes, pools and meadows that are home to the wildlife. Visit the centre for you and your family to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
Alternatively, consider a visit to the Science Museum Imax Cinema located in South Kensington, to see 2D and 3D films come to life on a giant screen, for your whole family to enjoy.

Ripley’s presents a unique mixture of entertainment, educational and fun for the whole family.
Midlands:
Looking for days out with the kids in Birmingham? Visit the infamous Cadbury’s world located in Bourneville, where a world full of chocolate is awaiting. You can discover the history of one of the biggest chocolate manufacturers in the UK with many fun activities for the whole family to participate and learn along the way.
North England:
Days out with the kids in North England cannot happen without a trip to York Dungeon, a unique, fun and scary adventure for the family.
South East England
For days out with the kids in South East England, visit the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, Hampshire; the tallest viewing tower in Britain. The 170m high building gives you the chance to experience the unique perspective of the city and its surroundings as well as allowing you to almost walk on air at Europe’s largest glass floor home.
Visit Wellington Country Park located in Berkshire for a family fun day out. At the park, there are four nature trails to follow taking in the view of the vast array of wildlife and beautiful scenery; for the children, there is a toddler’s area with lots of fun activities to keep them occupied.
Scotland
Visiting Scotland, you can take a trip down to Edinburgh Dungeon, a fascinating and frightful journey through the sinister dark side of Scotland’s past.
Scotland is also home to the Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary. Here, you get to discover a spectacular seal aquarium; you get the opportunity to learn about the rescue, rehabilitation and release of the seals as well as observe them and watch a daily feeding demonstration. The National Sea Life Centre based all over the country, gives you the opportunity to explore the spectacular displays of the exotic animals in their natural habitat and get an insight into the magical mysteries of the sea.
