Dartington Crystal Factory is proud to be Britain's last remaining manufacturer of crystal and glass products and prides itself on being able to offer a complete visitor attraction and shopping experience at the site in Great Torrington.

Within the Visitor Centre and Dartington Glass Factory Experience, you can follow the timeline exhibition learning the facts and figures relating to the history of Dartington Crystal, watch our film in the Audio Visual Theatre and watch our Master Engraver creating master pieces. There is also the opportunity to have your hand cast in glass, blow your own glass, children can do glass painting and also design and make your own glass jewellery.

The Dartington Glass Factory Experience lets you view the heart of the factory on ground level in the blowing room, where you will see and experience the skill, quality and care that helps make Dartington special. Then, take the ariel walkway to see the complete process from above.

As well as the fantastic Visitor Centre and Factory Experience, Dartington is a great place to shop: we offer a huge selection of first and second quality crystal. You can also see our other brands: Caithness Glass, Royal Brierley and also John Beswick.

The factory shopping complex also features a great selection of brands such as Portmeirion, Yankee Candles, Cottage Delights and some fantastic offers in homewares, furnishings, cards, wine, luggage, jewellery, candles, garden gifts, children's gifts, fashion, the All Year round Christmas Shop and much much more.
