The Alternative Technology Centre is set on 7 acres of land and comprises of numerous displays, as well as places to eat and children’s play areas.

| The Visitor Centre is currently open every day, Monday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm (last entry 3pm). Opening time from 31 March 2012 - 4 November 2012: 10am to 5.30pm (last entry 4.30pm) Please note that the cliff railway only runs during the summer season (31 March - 2 November 2012) During the winter months, when the railway is closed, access to the Visitor Centre is via the Garden Steps. This is a stepped pathway which takes about 10 minutes to walk, passing the eco-cabins, vegetable fields and shop. Parking is provided near the visitor circuit at the top of the South Drive for those who are unable to walk up. |
