In the heart of Paris is a very unique and exciting aquarium. Aquarium de Paris, Cineaqua is located in the Trocadéro gardens and has some of the world’s most exotic sea life. It is referred to as Cineaqua because it combines an aquarium and two cinemas.

Aquarium de Paris is home to over 10,000 fish from all corners of the aquatic world such as The North Atlantic Ocean, The Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean. All come in different shapes, sizes and colours and add to the exotic nature of the aquarium.

The Shark Tunnel, one of the most popular features that the kids will love, is home to twenty-four sharp toothed fish. The Touch Pool allows visitors to stroke and feed fishes and being able to get up close with the different sea creatures is a great learning experience for both adults and children.

Every day at the Aquarium de Paris, different animations about the sea world are broadcast in one of the two cinemas. And there are plenty of interactive workshops and activities to take part in. These include scrapbooking workshops, face painting, hair braiding and nature exhibitions from artists and photographers. Children can also take part in an interactive treasure hunt with the help of the heroes of Octonauts.
